- A motion was brought to the floor to vote in the November meeting Minutes. The motion was passed, November minutes approved and the December meeting began.

- Thank you to EVERYONE involved in making the Harlem Wizards night such a gigantic success. A fun time was had by all.
- BHS/BMS
- Thank Hot Bagels Abroad for including our fine arts students in their annual tree lighting ceremony.
- Kudos to Bloomfield Middle School for another successful Turkey Shootout. This is an annual event enjoyed by all. Be sure to look back at our various social media platforms for some great pictures of this fun event.
- Congratulations to everyone involved in the 2023 BHS Fall Play! Kudos to Mr.Brandon Doemling and Supervisor of Fine Arts, Michelle Lampert, for yet another successful high school production.
- Thank you to all who supported the annual Bloomfield Kiwanis Club Thanksgiving Dinner. Many families benefited due to the generosity of the Bloomfield community.
- All Bloomfield Schools honored Veterans Day in early November. Various activities, lessons, and projects took place district-wide.
- “Bengal Talks” are once again taking place at BHS. This is where BHS alumni come back to speak to current students about specific professions. Check social media for information if you are interested.
- The Black Student Union took a field trip to the Malcolm Bernard HBCU College Fair at Kean University. This event featured over 40 Historically Black Colleges and Universities! Students had opportunities to discuss the academic requirements for each school while getting an idea of the campus life/atmosphere. While attending we had 24 instant decision acceptances!
- Congratulations to the BHS Theatre Department for a successful fall play: The Complete History Of America (Abridged).
- All Schools
- Thank you to all Bloomfield Schools HSA Organizations for the various drives and donations being done during this holiday season. Your hard work and devotion is much appreciated by the board of education.
- Congratulations to BHS Head Football Coach, Mike Carter, for being named Freedom Red Division Coach of the Year!
- Congratulations to the 2023 Bloomfield High School Marching Band, under the direction of Mrs. Kerr & Mr. Burbank for a wildly successful season and having achieved multiple statewide recognitions.

- Daily Morning Announcements: Students are celebrating District-wide “Hour of Code” for the month of December and the festive holidays!
- Teaching and Learning: Students continue to engage in rigorous learning environments with a lot of holiday cheer!
- Weekly Safety Team meetings continue to support our community's overall safety and well-being.
- Monthly Cafecito Chats with families- engaging in thought partnering and fruitful conversations!

- Mrs. Ritacco: the teachers are experiencing a copy paper shortage, and put forward a proposal to purchase copy paper.
- A proposal was brought to the floor for $1000 of surplus funds for 20 cases (approximately $50/case) copy paper. 10 yays, 0 nays. The motion passed.
- Postscript: thanks to Marie Glemaud for directing us to Staples. 22 cases of paper were delivered to the teachers on 12/11/2023 by Jenn.
- Holiday Concert: 1st grade, 2nd grade, 5th grade chorus, and 6th grade.
- Discussion of After School Explorers. This is TBD.
- Question about how MLK Day is celebrated. Discussion of Act of Kindness project, or Day of Service project.
